Alam-i ajsam | Alam-i arvah

The world of bodies and the world of spirit, these are two sufi terms that I have fallen in love with. I am reading a book by J.G. Bennett, where these are explained in terms of land and ocean. The land and the sea are separate but there is the seashore where they are able to touch eachother. When I read this I was at a beach with my wonderful wife and some friends, and it resonated deep inside me. All knowledge about all things is present everywhere around us. Our work must be to "tune our instrument" so that we can receive the frequencies upon which this knowledge rides.
